Plessey announced today that it will be exhibiting at the LuxLive event from 23-24 November at London’s ExCeL arena at stand M8. LuxLive is Europe’s biggest annual lighting event.
The event programme will cover key sectors that are moving towards solid-state lighting solutions, including retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, commercial, street and industrial lighting. Plessey will be demonstrating a number of lighting solutions designed around its award-winning GaN-on-Silicon technology which delivers best-in-class LED performance on large diameter silicon substrates, achieving a 10x reduction in LED die product costs.
Delegates will be able to view Plessey’s first standard LED module Plessey Orion™ PLWS300 based on its award winning Stellar™ Beam Forming technology which launched in September at the LED Professional Symposium in Bregenz, Austria, as well as a preview of its next product in the product series. Plessey will also show case its high power LEDs product family including its PLW7070 series and PLW3535 series, for high power applications including flood lights, high bay, street lighting and all other outdoor lighting.
Giuliano Cassataro, Plessey’s LED Sales Director, said, “We have the technology and supply chain to provide mass customisation of lighting solutions for manufacturers in all segments in the lighting market. This allows the significant environmental, reliability and quality of light benefits from a state of the art LED light engine to be realised in any application. Whilst there is overcapacity in the low and mid power market, there is insufficient supply in the fastest growing markets of high power and super high power LEDs. Plessey’s recent capacity expansion of its Plymouth facility, combined with its differentiated technology where integration of intelligence and optics is possible, is the direction that LED lighting is headed and we will be showcasing this integration of solid state lighting solutions at LuxLive.”
Plessey will hold product demonstrations presented by technical and design experts at stand M8, providing an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of its latest products and solutions for the commercial, industrial, consumer and wearable lighting segments. LuxLive will open on Wednesday 23rd November from 9am to 9pm and on Thursday 24th November from 9am to 5pm. The show is free to attend with tickets available through the event homepage: http://luxlive.co.uk/
